The Grassroots Connect London 2027 will be bigger better and bolder than ever before.
On Wednesday 20th January 2027 at The Bedford in London Grassroots connect will be an unmissable all-day event

This will be a whole day of networking and live music, designed to connect emerging artists with industry experts and like-minded creatives.

Artist Feedback Sessions: Panel of experts assess pre-submitted tracks, providing key advice as well as providing artists with video and audio feedback copies.

Set to Be the Biggest Independent Music Industry Event Yet
Grassroots Connect has announced its most ambitious event to date, with Grassroots Connect London 2027 taking place on Wednesday 20 January 2027 at the iconic The Bedford, London.
Bringing together emerging artists, music industry professionals and creative talent from across the UK, the event promises to be bigger, better and bolder than ever before. Designed to create genuine opportunities, Grassroots Connect London 2027 will deliver an inspiring full day of networking, education, collaboration and live music.
Throughout the day, attendees will have access to an extensive programme of industry-focused sessions, including expert panel discussions, artist feedback sessions and speed networking opportunities, all aimed at helping independent musicians develop their careers and build meaningful industry connections.

Leading professionals from across the music industry will share their knowledge, experience and insights on the topics that matter most to today's independent artists.
Speed Networking
Fast-paced one-to-one meetings will give artists the opportunity to connect directly with promoters, radio presenters, managers, PR specialists, producers, booking agents and other music professionals, gaining valuable advice and expanding their professional network.
Artist Feedback Sessions
Artists will be invited to submit tracks in advance for constructive critique from an expert panel. Each participant will receive professional feedback, along with video and audio recordings of their session, providing lasting guidance to support their musical development.

Radio Wigwam Launches the Grassroots Music Awards as It Celebrates a Decade of Championing Independent Music
For the past ten years, Radio Wigwam has proudly championed grassroots music, broadcasting and celebrating independent artists from around the world.
Since launching a decade ago, the independent online radio station has been dedicated to discovering, supporting and showcasing new, emerging and under-the-radar musical talent from across the globe. With a mission to inspire the music of tomorrow, Radio Wigwam provides invaluable exposure through radio airplay, interviews and live performance opportunities to artists often overlooked by mainstream broadcasters.
Each year, Radio Wigwam receives more than 3,000 track submissions from independent musicians worldwide. From these, the station recognises the very best artists and recordings released over the previous 12 months through its annual awards.
As Radio Wigwam celebrates its tenth anniversary, it is also embracing an exciting new chapter. Reflecting the evolution of music, radio and the independent industry itself, the annual Radio Wigwam Awards will become The Grassroots Music Awards from January 2027.

Launching this exciting two-day celebration, Grassroots Connect London 2027 will be bigger, better and bolder than ever before.
Taking place from 1.00pm on Tuesday 20 January 2027, the all-day event will bring together emerging artists, music industry professionals and creative talent from across the UK for a day of networking, learning, collaboration and live music.
Attendees will have access to an extensive programme of industry-focused sessions, including expert panel discussions, artist feedback sessions and speed networking opportunities, all designed to help independent musicians develop their careers, build meaningful industry relationships and unlock new opportunities.
The Grassroots Music Awards 2027
The celebrations continue on Wednesday 21 January 2027 with The Grassroots Music Awards, hosted once again by musician and former Iron Maiden member Tony Moore.
Awards will be presented by Radio Wigwam DJs alongside the station's sponsors, while the evening will feature explosive live performances from previous award winners, making it a memorable celebration of the very best in grassroots music.
The Grassroots Music Awards feature 16 award categories, celebrating outstanding achievements by independent grassroots artists from around the world.
This year's nominees will be announced at www.radiowigwam.co.uk/radio-wigwam-awards, with regular updates also available via Radio Wigwam's Facebook and Instagram channels.
