We're always listening
Grassroots Connect exists to create real performance opportunities for independent artists — and we’re constantly on the lookout for exciting, original talent to programme at our events and festival stages.
If you’re writing, recording, rehearsing and ready to step onto a stage, we’d love to hear from you.
Who Can Apply?
We welcome:
• Solo artists, bands and collectives
• Original music across all genres
• Emerging and developing artists
• Artists building their live experience
• Artists who share our belief in community and collaboration
You don’t need a huge following. You don’t need industry representation. You just need great music and a commitment to your craft

What We Look For
We programme artists who:
• Perform original material
• Are ready to deliver a confident live set
• Are active and engaged in their music journey
• Want to be part of a supportive grassroots network
We’re passionate about diversity, inclusion and creating space for voices that deserve to be heard.
What You’ll Get
Artists selected to perform can benefit from:
• Professional live performance opportunities
• Exposure through our association with Radio Wigwam
• Networking with venues, promoters and industry professionals
• Being part of a growing grassroots music community
We aim to create supportive, well-organised events where artists feel valued and respected.
How To Apply
Simply upload your music to Radio Wigwam.
Every submission is listened to carefully by our team. If your music is right for one (or more) of our radio shows, we’ll share it with our global audience. And if it’s a great fit for an upcoming live event or showcase, we’ll be in touch directly.
You need to inform us (via their profile or subscription type) that you are a live performer and are ready to perform at our events. Artists need to be willing to collaborate and promote an event you are involved in. We also require notification of your availability, mobility and respond to organisers and promoters .
We can’t programme everyone straight away, but we do keep strong submissions on file for future opportunities — so even if you don’t hear from us immediately, your music is still on our radar.
